Simple solution to keep the USA from joining the third world countries. Yes sometimes we must hit bottom to recover and I say, "So be it". We must do what we have to do. FIRST NO NO NO more company bailouts. Why we did this at all is beyond me. If a company can't make a profit on their own and generate enough revenue to meet their payroll then let them perish. New and better companies will emerge and will be forced to be efficient and productive. Which brings up part two. OUTLAW UNIONS!!!!!! They may (or may not) have been needed at one point but no more. With the government's hand in every one's business there will be no sweatshops, etc. Maybe overseas but not here. If these companies (auto manufacturers, etc) did not have to deal with unions they would automatically become more efficient. If the union workers don't want to accept this I can supply names of people wanting those jobs. Let's fail so we can succeed.

Dad I'm confused...I thought you said there was no economic downturn?
Lisa, The government has now caused an economic downturn. I don't know for sure however is this a move by the government to make even more of a socialist country???? Maybe, that seems to be Obama's adgenda.
Why is Obama expected to fix the economy in 8 weeks when we tolerated Bush ruining it for 8 years?
